Hello kids, well it's Halloween tomorrow mu haw haw haw! What a great time of year, we all get to dress up and pretend to be a scary monster, so I guess by that logic, everyday is Halloween if you're Sarah Palin - hey oh!
I also come to you all with a heavy heart, we are losing a family member tomorrow. We are turning in my baby, my car. It's been fun knowing you, but in this economy, we're cuttin' and runnin'. It will be a bit of an inconvenience for a while, but we'll manage and it will save us some dough too but I think everyone nowadays are making these kinds of adjustments. I've also stopped looking at my 401K because it's too depressing so I need to find my happy place, although it's somewhere in TX right now (in case you haven't been following my "happy place" is myPS3).
So my wife Holly is absolutely obsessed with this book series by Stephanie Meyer. The first was called Twilight and she's now on the second book called New Moon. It's a modern day love story about Vampires, Humans, and Werewolves, sounds like a kinky Monster Mash to me - hey oh again! Anyway, it must be good, becuase she doesn't even talk to me anymore. It's fun getting into a good book, I don't think people really do that much anymore. I'm actually looking forward to taking the bus so I can do that. When I worked in Seattle, I went through a lot of books so if there are any good recommendations, I'm listening.
In closing, life is good, work is great, but the days are going to be feeling a lot shorter now with the time change. I almost forgot we are going to the Hawks game this weekend vs. the Eagles so I hopefully our boys can pull it out, it's going to be a tough one, go Hawks, BIRDS OF PREY!!!!
I'm out, I've got turkey spaghetti and the Office waiting for me.
