The Anger Sharks are Swimming in my Head...

Okay, so I went to Gamestop yesterday and got my brand new PS3 game called Dead Space which is a space horror game that I've been waiting for like forever. Here is the prequel of the cartoon (www.deadspacegame.com) however it's not for kids! Anyway, I get it home and I'm playing for about 10-15 mins and I just got to the good part where I see my first necromorph (humans that have "turned") and then...my screen freezes - NOOOOOOO!!!!

At this point, I calmly say to myself okay, just reset and try again. Well about 400 resets and two dozen "f" bombs later I get two different error messages. I call the nerds at Gamestop and let them know I need another game disc but the guy tells me he needs to check with his manager which is basically another 19 year old kid that's never been on a date with a girl. They tell me okay which they were lucky to do because I would have let them have it for sure. I bring it home and it's the same thing over and over. I even try other games, nope. So I call it a night...

I get up early this morning and put the game in. Everything is good so far and then the game goes crazy, all these glitchy things happen and then freezes again. I grumble a bit and head off to work and I call the Sony support. They tell me to change a few things which I do and when I put the game in earlier tonight everything seems to work okay and then...BANG! Sorry, error message again - NOOOOOOO!!!

So now I've Googled this error message and to my delight, apparently this is the harbinger of death for the PS3 and I have no idea if it's still under warranty. I've been playing this fricking PS3 for over a year w/no problems. I finally get the game I want and this steaming pile of poo now decides to crap out on me...no pun intended. Oh and by the way, the crappy weather is here, the economy blows, and the Seahawks suck so I guess you know how my months been!
