Well I do apologize for the long delay, but the good news is I have a lot to report. I would like to apologize to my Aunties and Grandma for not writing for a while and huge shout out to Auntie Linda who I saw on her blog made McAwesomes and thats well, Awesome! Okay, so now onto the blog:
So last weekend was a busy weekend, we had some friends over on Friday and it was really fun (and expensive) to entertain but Holly is such a pro, she put on quite the display and she received many oohs and ahhs from our guests who loved her decorating. We also had all the Jimmy's over but I'll get to that later in the blog as well as some home projects. Therefore, I added some pics of our place BEFORE everyone came over and messed up the joint.
Here is a shot of our living room:
Here is a view of the entry (I'll get to the color on the wall and mirror later)
So one of our on-going projects has been really more of a "cosmetic" makeover of our second bathroom. This was really all Holly however I did manage to hang the light fixture by myself without electrocuting myself. On to the pics:

Check out the Z's!
These are some really cool towel hooks Holly picked out:
So the next home project that we had was updating our master bath. We had a horrible light fixture that was one unit with four lights on it and a large mirror. We are going to remove both and replace with two separate light fixtures and two individual mirrors over the sinks. We also were going to give it a paint job as well. So I've listed those pics below:
Here was the light fixture we removed (barf!):
This is a shot of the other wall, the only reason we had to spakle this is because Holly tried to "Hulk" a towel rack out of the wall so it left a big hole. She didn't realize a small screwdriver and a tiny bit of spakle would have done the trick. HULK SMASH!!
So one of the other things we were able to do when the Jimmy's were here was hang this pretty heavy mirror. If you refer to the picture earlier, you may have noticed this mirror was just leaning on the entry console and now it is safely hanging on the wall and it looks great. You'll also notice a couple of colors on the wall. The darker color was the original one Holly picked out but the other lighter color is the one we are going with or at least that was the plan. Unfortunately Holly isn't sure now that its on the wall - would have been good to know before I bought two gallons of it!!
So here are the pics:
So anyway as you can see we have a lot of home projects going that are in various stages of completion so it will be nice when it's all done. It was great to have my bro and little Jimmy here, unfortunately they were only to stay for a short period of time but we made it fun. Congrats to my mom-in-law Barb who finally quit her job - way to go Barb! My job rocks and I love it! And last but not least, Seahawks training camp is underway - woohoo! Birds of Prey! GO HAWKS!
That's it I'm out, stay tuned for more blogging comin your way!
