Doom and Gloom

Okay, so it's really hard to be a Seattle sports fan right now, our basketball team was stolen, our baseball team has the highest payroll and the worst record, both college football teams blow (although I could give a rats a$$ about WSU) and just about every starter on the Seahawks are going down with long term injuries. What did we do to deserve this?? Anyway, at least the weather has been nice but I'm not giving up on my Hawks, they should dominate on Sunday - Birds of Prey!!!

What else is happening, well it was nice to not see so many political ads that have nothing to do with real problems people face for one day, but they'll be back tomorrow! Plus, I think the celebrity factor of Caribou Barbie will eventually fade and hopefully we get back to talking about real problems people face. Somebody is actually running for President right?

In other big news, my sister may be at this very moment in labor or close to it. Laura - Holly and I are thinking of you and can't wait to welcome in H2 to the family!!

Anyway not much else going on, although I'll have to send some pics of the downstairs, our place is just a little dirty right now and hopefully I can be a little bit better about updating the blog so I apologize in advance.

Good night all!

What is going on in the land of he Hawk...Caribou Barbie that is funny, i imagine that you will throw off that atheist mantle you hold strong too (and have the books to prove your conviction) and will pray at the feet of the coming of almighty obama...good for you that you found faith in a guy who can't make up his mind on issues affecting our country but apparently will provide short term fixes that should appease even the most short-sighted voter....pay me know and you got my vote...

Jim, I am not in lock-step w/Obama, there are many things I actually don't agree with, however I do believe we need something new and a 200 year old man with a chick that graduated from the U. of Idaho who is really George Bush as a woman is not the answer, so I'm willing to take that chance.
